  Milestones

  • To reduce the delay in releasing the monthly pension, the mode of disbursement of pension for approx 2700 Pensioners shifted to the State Bank of India from the University of Delhi. The Project started in 2012 and 98 % completion achieved by 2014.
  • The Annual Accounts of the University of Delhi from the FY 2011-12 were submitted to MHRD well within the stipulated time and this was continued for almost five consecutive years with no major Audit observations/Paras.
  • Online fee collection system successfully launched for the first time in the University and its affiliated colleges during the year 2016-17 and approximately 7 lakhs transactions worth Rs. 331 cr were successfully executed. As on date University crossed one million mark in the Digital transactions.
  • E-Procurement has successfully launched from FY 2016-17 for procurement of goods and services resulting whopping 507 tenders were placed on CPPP portal till the end of 31st March 2017.
  • With effect from 01.01.2017, the mode of fee collection in respect of issue of certificates such as Migration, Transcript, Duplicate Degree/Marks sheet, Revaluation, Rechecking, etc., migrated from the manual mode to online fee collection system resulting in saving lot man hours.
  • With effect from 01.04.2017, an online medical claim system has been developed and implemented to keep the track of bills and expenditure on medical reimbursement.
  • Online Research Project Management System (RPMS) developed in 2013-14 and implemented for the convenience of the Faculty members who are undertaking research projects.
  • The Employees of the University are getting their pay slips on manual mode and now they can generate their Salary Slip online mode by using their official email id and pass word.
  • For the benefit of the Students, a user friendly Wi-Fi and a format of bona fide certificate are in built in the Finance portal thereby the students can use the Wi-Fi connectivity and also down load their bonafide certificate with pre-registration.
  • University of Delhi has done away with the cash/cheque transaction and implemented 100% payments in digital mode of transactions i.e. through RTGS, NEFT, SWIFT etc. The project started in 2012 .
  • From 1 August 2017 Fee collection in the form of 'Cash' completely stopped by the Cash section of the Finance wing by permanently closing the cash windows.
